Our Church
From 2007 we faced a weekly shortfall
between planned giving and the running costs of
church, our ministry and our worship.
Regular planned giving, which
makes up less than half our receipts, is static and
several other less reliable sources show signs of
declining.
We need the majority of our
receipts to come from our regular and reliable
giving.
Our
Challenge
To cultivate the grace of giving
we need to think carefully about all we receive from
God, consider our priorities then prayerfully review
our giving.
Our church needs a certain value
of income per week to pay for it's ministry of
worship, witness, service and mission.
Improvement and development of our
church and its life will mean increased costs.
To be adequately funded we need
the grace of giving.
Our Choices
Our planned
giving scheme already has over 120 members.
Is it time to join the envelope scheme or move to
standing order?
Our Gift Aid scheme has almost 60
members.
Is it time to join if you pay tax?
Giving to God's work through the
church should be a priority.
Is it time to increase your giving and to give in
proportion to what you receive?
Thank you
for your gift
